| dc.description | The article is devoted to the problem of discovering new methods of professional training, and to the formation of a highly developed personality that corresponds to the society demands. The authors highlight the given problem and provide the detailed analysis of one of the most effective methods of situational training which is called the case-method. According to the article, there is more than one right solution in real situations. That is why it has been proven that the main feature of case-studying method deals with the individual knowledge that is gained from life experience and even intuition. In the research it was found that knowledge perception and skills development are the result of active individual problem solving that effects the creative acquisition of professional knowledge, skills and intelligence development. The case-method is characterized as a specific practical method of the teaching process, and, as a consequence, educational tasks and abilities are focused in the developed method. Some research literature states that professional case-method training stimulates student activity and learning motivation. Additionally, this training method improves teacher performance without extra cost. As a result, the knowledge is not only transmitted, as in the process of traditional teaching methods, but the students are taught and given a special ability to cope with the unique and unusual situations, focusing on skills of analysis and decision making. | uk_UA |
